Which is a diocese, ore diocese, Diözese:

The catholic church is organized in dioceses also Diöziesen, what administrative districts and above all Seelsorgsbezirke are. In Germany there are at present 20 dioceses and 7 ore dioceses. A diocese is designated generally after the seat of the bishop. The diocese is led by a bishop and the ore diocese by an archbishop. Several dioceses with an ore diocese at the point, form a church province.
In the 4th century the oldest German dioceses Trier, Cologne and Mainz enstanden.
